Théâtre du Vieux-Colombier / d’après Jules Verne / mes Christian Hecq et Valérie Lesort
Interprète clownesque et polymorphe, Christian Hecq s’est initié à la manipulation marionnettique en 2008, auprès de Philippe Genty et Mary Underwood. Aujourd’hui, à l’occasion d’une mise en scène de 20 000 lieues sous les mers, il forme quelques-uns de ses partenaires de troupe (Christian Gonon, Nicolas Lormeau, Jérémy Lopez, Elliot Jenicot et Louis Arene – la voix off est interprétée par Cécile Brune) à l’art de la marionnette. « Je suis heureux de pouvoir transmettre ma passion (…) à mes camarades, déclare Christian Hecq. J’y retrouve le plaisir d’une forme expérimentale, une invention en commun, une sorte de laboratoire. Il y a une dimension imaginaire forte dans ce roman, et rien de tel que le théâtre d’images pour la représenter sur scène. » Nautilus, monstres marins, personnages sillonnant les abysses… : le 525e sociétaire de la Comédie-Française fait renaître sous nos yeux le monde fantastique imaginé par Jules Verne. Et nous plonge dans l’univers de l’illusion marionnettique.
