CHATELET / FETE MUSICALE
Pianiste et compositeur, Jean-François Zygel se revendique d’une grande tradition perdue de la musique classique occidentale, qui a presque toujours fait cohabiter dans le talent de ses plus grands représentants, l’art de la composition et celui de l’improvisation (qui va de pair avec la pratique instrumentale). Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Chopin… Qui dit mieux ? Tous étaient de remarquables improvisateurs. Aujourd’hui le statut de compositeur a changé et s’est éloigné non seulement de l’improvisation mais aussi de la pratique instrumentale. Ce n’est évidemment pas le cas du beau monde que Jean-François Zygel rassemblera pour cette nuit folle, et par nature imprévisible, qui se profile au Châtelet, avec à tous les étages du théâtre des événements, des rencontres, des duels de pianistes, des surprises, traversant tous les mondes musicaux et croisant les disciplines : jazz, slam, beatbox, électronique, baroque, musiques du monde… La fête nationale de l’improvisation !
