Eric Minh Cuong Castaing questionne les représentations et les perceptions du corps à l’heure des nouvelles technologies. Il fait appel à des interprètes professionnels et amateurs dans leur diversité la plus inclusive. Ses projets, qu’il qualifie d’«in socius», prennent forme au sein de réalités sociétales, en partenariat avec des institutions en dehors du monde de l’art (écoles, hôpitaux, ONG…). _ p/\rc___ fait référence au parc, car Eric Minh Cuong Castaing avait déjà proposé une étape de ce travail dans une aire de jeux, permettant à des enfants empêchés de se déplacer dans ces lieux auxquels ils ne pouvaient pas avoir directement accès, grâce à des robots de « téléprésence ». Cette fois, il transforme le plateau du Théâtre du Châtelet en un grand parc où naissent des danses spécifiques, associant des enfants atteints de troubles moteurs physiques et des danseurs. Autour d’eux, avec eux, les robots de « téléprésence » sont pilotés par d’autres enfants ou adultes en situation d’empêchement physique. Les corps des danseurs deviennent le prolongement des corps dit « empêchés » et jouent avec les interprètes-pilotes, tandis que les enfants sur le plateau s’en font les transmetteurs.
