Vingtième Théâtre / d’Alison Svoboda / mes Alice de La Baume
La mort de Norman, un père de famille ayant refait sa vie avec un homme, David, crée une scission au sein de son entourage. L’ouverture de son testament révèle, en effet, ses dernières volontés que son compagnon et sa fille adoptive, Wit, souhaitent faire respecter, contrairement au reste de ses proches. « J’ai voulu ancrer cette pièce dans l’univers d’un rêve, explique Alice de La Baume, afin de plonger dans l’inconscient de Wit, de créer une distance qui nous permette d’ouvrir les zones de l’absurde et de la féerie. » Adepte d’un « théâtre de la sincérité », d’un théâtre « qui se positionne davantage du côté de la vie que de celui de la théâtralité », la jeune metteure en scène de 26 ans a souhaité, à travers cette pièce, explorer deux thèmes qui la questionnent depuis longtemps : la mort et la famille. Deux thèmes qui, dans A Chacun ses cendres, se répondent sur fond de complexités relationnelles et d’humour noir.
