« Ce qui ne meurt pas ne vit pas » : A Filetta n’hésite pas à citer Jankélévitch pour éclairer le sens de sa nouvelle réalisation. Chanter la mort pour mieux célébrer la vie, tel est le cœur du nouveau projet discographique et scénique de Jean-Claude Acquaviva. Une fois de plus, A Filetta s’inscrit au croisement de la tradition corse, où le culte des morts occupe une place importante, et de la volonté de réinventer, dépasser et ouvrir cet héritage en donnant naissance à une oeuvre véritablement nouvelle. Fruit d’une commande du festival de Saint-Denis, Di Corsica riposu, Requiem pour deux regards est une œuvre pour sept voix, récitant et bandonéon, chantée en latin et ponctuée de textes dits en corse, français, italien tirés de l’Ecclésiaste, de l’inoubliable Se questo è un uomo (Si c’est un homme) de Primo Levi ou encore de la plume de Jean-Claude Acquaviva.
Vision spirituelle
Danse, théâtre, opéra, musiques de cinéma, etc… A Filetta avait déjà traversé bien des univers. Avec cette œuvre sacrée, partition d’envergure porteuse d’une vision spirituelle profonde et d’une réflexion sur le sens de la vie et de la mort, le groupe franchit une nouvelle étape de son exemplaire parcours. Indépendant et créatif, A Filetta réaffirme son refus de se laisser enfermer dans le rôle réducteur de gardiens du temple d’un art vocal insulaire figé voué au seul service du patrimoine pour au contraire donner vie à un ensemble inspiré, certes bien accroché à sa terre natale, mais pour mieux tendre le nez au vent ou comme aujourd’hui regarder vers le ciel, à l’image de la fougère à laquelle il a emprunté son nom. Avec Daniele di Bonaventura au bandonéon et les voix de Jean-Claude Acquaviva (également narrateur et compositeur), François Acquaviva, José Filippi, Jean-Luc Geronimi, Paul Giansily, Jean Sicurani et Maxime Vuillamier.
