C’est sans doute le plus original des festivals à naître en cette fin de saison parisienne. À fleur de notes, parrainé par la chef de chœur Laurence Equilbey, propose de jeter un regard sur la musique néerlandaise du xxe siècle. Inconnus du public français, Léo Smit (1900-1943), Henk Badings (1907-1987) et Rudolf Escher (1912-1987) ont pourtant entretenu des liens étroits avec la France, au moins par l’influence sensible de la musique de Ravel et Debussy. Le premier concert de ce festival en trois temps s’attache à faire découvrir leur musique de chambre. Initiateur de la manifestation, le pianiste et chef Pieter-Jelle de Boer a voulu en faire également un lieu de rencontre avec la jeune génération d’instrumentistes : l’organiste Anne-Gaëlle Chanon, la flûtiste Raquele Magalhaes et le violoncelliste Romain Garioud participent ainsi à cette première édition dans des programmes mettant également à l’honneur la musique de Mendelssohn pour piano et orgue et un intéressant programme de trios pour flûte, violoncelle et piano, de Haydn à Duruflé.
