Montreuil abritait autrefois la manufacture Bébé jumeau, où l’on fabriquait des poupées de porcelaine aux yeux d’émail recouvert de cristal bombé. A sa manière, A la croisée des Chevaux, orchestrant la rencontre entre diverses formes marionnettiques, rappelle cette exigence de fabrication. Tout commence par une exposition des marionnettes de la compagnie Le Pont Volant – La Robe à l’Envers, qui propose aussi au public de raconter la relation à “sa“ ville dans une cabine à interviews, afin de nourrir une prochaine création sur la ville et l’appartenance. A voir ensuite Gyromance, un spectacle du talentueux facteur et conteur d’images Roland Shön, peuplé d’étranges personnages qui traversent un périple de cinq siècles, initié en 1442, lorsque débute la gyromance, ou l’art de conter une histoire en l’illustrant par des images peintes sur un rouleau. Puis la compagnie Ka propose un parcours-diptyque de petites formes marionnettiques, sur des textes de Matéi Visniec.
Insolite et mystérieux
Dorothée Saysombat invente deux solos de théâtre d’objets sur table, l’un, La Chambre 26, fait vivre des cartes postales enfermées dans une boîte, l’autre, Ma Foi, loufoque et décalé, s’inspire librement de la pièce Le Concile d’amour (1895) d’Oskar Panizza, « tragédie céleste » autour d’un débat sur la punition divine qui valut la prison à son auteur. La Soupe Compagnie de Benoît Fourchard et Delphine Bardot présente deux spectacles qui se font échos, explorant notamment la résistance au vieillissement : Vanité, spectacle pour une comédienne, quelques poupées, de la chair et des poils, et Humeurs, aventure sulfureuse d’un « petit rebut ». Le théâtre insolite et mystérieux mêlant objets et marionnettes de la compagnie Pseudonymo propose une exposition et un spectacle, Un phénomène tout à fait ordinaire, d’après un texte de Daniil Harms. La compagnie Succursale 101 invite à une balade intrigante dans le XIVe arrondissement de Paris, De la Porte d’Orléans, et la compagnie Marinette Dozeville imagine un projet avec un artiste associé, David Girondin-Moab de la compagnie Pseudonymo. Un temps fort éclectique et inventif.
