Il y a l’agent d’entretien, le routier russe, l’autostoppeuse, la working girl, la jolie fille en panne… cinq personnages que rien ne pouvait lier, si ce n’est ce no man’s land prompt à accueillir toutes les solitudes. On y vient pour faire une pause, se doucher, prendre un café, tuer le temps aussi, entre fausses plantes, machine à boissons, et sanitaires. Le décor est en lui-même un personnage, et tout le défi aura été de l’habiter, lui donner vie, et interagir avec ses éléments. De ce point de vue, la compagnie La main s’affaire offre de belles surprises, mais qui ne suffiront pas à donner de l’épaisseur aux personnages et esquisser un espace de réflexion.
Individus en transit
Le spectacle enchaîne des scènes de vies ordinaires qui peinent à décoller, installant ces individus en transit dans leurs rôles en étirant le temps. Même si l’agent d’entretien fait tout pour rendre l’endroit magique, le comique de situation ne rattrape rien et A snack to be rate son rendez-vous avec le cirque. Les portés acrobatiques ne semblent être qu’un dernier recours, avalés par le décor et peu soignés, quand la prouesse technique est réduite à des effets de gymnastique. Même la fête qui clôt cette rencontre improbable nous laisse sur le bas-côté, sans empathie, ni poésie.
