« Secousses, émotions vives et réflexions », c’est ce qu’a ressenti Magali Leiris à la lecture d’Abeilles de Gilles Granouillet. Un texte qui a particulièrement touché la metteure en scène qui n’a de cesse de creuser les questions de la transmission et de la famille. Cette famille est ici pauvre et d’origine étrangère. Un jour, au cours d’une bagarre avec le père, le fils disparaît. « Gilles Granouillet observe à la loupe comment le poids des non-dits, des origines, de la honte, de la pauvreté, le poids du silence font éclater un drame », explique Magali Léris, sensible à cette écriture où « les questions sociales et politiques [Ö] sont posÈes [Ö] avec une sensibilitÈ, une poÈsie, une finesse qui parlent directement au cúur, secreÃtement, sourdement, tout en s’adressant avec une acuiteÏ claire aà notre intelligence. » Avec ses quatre comédiens Nanou Garcia, Carole Maurice, Paul Frédéric Manolis et Eric Petitjaean, elle axera son travail « sur le minimum, le petit, le silence, le non-dit, le rien. […] On parle parce que c’est nécessaire, on ne bavarde pas. »
