C’est dans le 20e arrondissement de Paris qu’est née la XXe Tribu, formée en 2006 par cinq danseurs hip-hop. Nourrie par la rue et les battles, leur danse tout à la fois souple et musclée sort des figures imposées et trouve son style dans l’alliance de l’énergie hip-hop, de techniques contemporaines, de rythmiques africaines et de capoeira. Un des leurs, François Lamargot, signe avec Akasha la deuxième création de la compagnie. Passé notamment chez Anthony Egéa, George Momboye, Blanca Li ou encore Salia et Seydou, Claude Brumachon et Redha, le jeune chorégraphe développe une gestuelle organique et rythmique qui sculpte l’espace et le groupe. « L’homme en harmonie avec lui-même devient parfaitement identique aux éléments qu’il rencontre, de telle sorte que rien ne peut le blesser ou l’embarrasser » : cette sage réflexion de Li Zie a guidé les pas de Akasha qui cherche à retrouver la réalité du corps en communion avec la nature.
