Attention, ce jeune musicien irrésistible encore relativement mal connu du public mélomane parisien est pourtant le chef français le plus demandé actuellement sur les scènes (lyriques en particulier) internationales. Elève puis enseignant lui-même au CNSM de Paris (dans la classe d’ensemble vocal), pianiste de formation, Alain Altinoglu est pourtant presque devenu chef d’orchestre par hasard, héritant un beau jour de la baguette d’une production de l’Opéra de Paris (où il était chef de chant et assistant) à la faveur du désistement à la dernière minute d’un chef souffrant… Le résultat fut plus que convaincant et, depuis, ce chef de 35 ans a conquis en un temps record les plus grandes scènes lyriques de la planète où il est régulièrement invité (et réinvité), du Staatsoper de Vienne au "Met" de New York, du festival d’Aix-en-Provence au Staatsoper de Berlin… Impressionnant ! Revenant sur les pas de sa jeunesse encore toute proche, il retrouve la fougue et le brio technique individuel des musiciens de l’Orchestre du Conservatoire de Paris dans Don Quichotte de Strauss (avec Marc Coppey au violoncelle et Gérard Caussé à l’alto en solistes) et dans la Symphonie n° 6 «Pathétique» de Tchaïkovski. Une belle occasion de faire davantage connaissance avec ce très grand chef français de demain et… d’aujourd’hui !
