Ils sont deux au milieu du plateau, une chaise, un éclairage sommaire… Sont-ils frères, amis, amants ? La pièce, qui signait les retrouvailles entre les deux hommes, met en scène une relation quasi siamoise mais cependant biaisée : l’un est acrobate et joue sur les plus belles scènes du monde, l’autre est jongleur unijambiste. Sans les béquilles, qui ne sont pourtant pas occultées et habitent aussi la scène, ils se lancent dans un corps à corps, une course commune, un élan mutuel, bouleversant là les lois de la gravité, montrant les portés les plus improbables du fait du membre manquant. Pourtant, aucun geste ne manque, la réorganisation du corps se fait au prix d’un effort du spectateur qui n’a plus qu’à accepter l’impossible handicap. Cirque ou danse, peu importe, on plonge dans cette histoire duelle comme l’on rêverait au mouton à cinq pattes, et l’on se plaît à admirer la relation franche et saine qui fonde le spectacle.
