« Le théâtre est un merveilleux “outil” pour donner à voir nos révolutions intérieures, les histoires invisibles de notre dedans, déclare Marie Liagre. Il offre la possibilité de créer des conventions et propose au spectateur de vivre dans l’instant un voyage particulier. De là, mon souci de styliser, c’est-à-dire de trouver des formes théâtrales pour extérioriser la plus grande intériorité. » L’intériorité que la metteure en scène met aujourd’hui en lumière est celle d’une Alice trentenaire. Une jeune femme à la vie bien rangée qui décide un jour de casser la routine de son quotidien pour explorer les parts cachées de sa personnalité. « De nombreuses scènes nous emmènent dans un espace onirique, impossible à appréhender normalement et pourtant présent en chacun de nous : notre inconscient, explique Marie Liagre. Nous sommes alors catapultés dans un monde dominé par nos fantasmes, nos passions, nos angoisses, nos désirs… » Alice et versa invite le public à un voyage initiatique fondé sur un « théâtre physique et visuel », un théâtre qui cherche le rythme dans les mots, qui tente de saisir le mouvement juste pour créer un poème d’images.
