Pour beaucoup, le nom d’Amandine Beyer est désormais directement associé à celui de Bach. Il est des rapprochements moins flatteurs… Son enregistrement en 2011 des Sonates et Partitas (chez ZigZag Territoires), acclamé par la critique, puis sa participation au spectacle Partita 2 chorégraphié par Anne Teresa de Keermaseker, créé l’été dernier au Festival d’Avignon, ont fait découvrir à beaucoup cette discrète violoniste baroque dans la musique du Cantor. Elle explore aujourd’hui un autre univers musical en interprétant, avec la complicité du pianofortiste sud-africain Kris Bezuidenhout, quatre sonates pour violon et piano de la maturité mozartienne, culminant avec la Sonate en si bémol majeur, K 454 composée en 1784. Pour la première fois, une œuvre de ce type était portée à un tel niveau d’expression, en particulier grâce au traitement des deux instruments à égalité, qui émancipait le violon de son rôle d’accompagnateur, posant ainsi les bases de la forme moderne résolument concertante de la sonate pour violon et piano.
