Théâtre de Châtillon / de Tennessee Williams / mes Juliette de Charnacé
Avec Salomé Stévenin et Cyrille Thouvenin, Juliette de Charnacé met en scène deux pièces en un acte de Tennessee Williams, Propriété condamnée, où deux adolescents se rencontrent dans un no man’s land, dans un coin perdu du Mississippi, et Parle-moi comme la pluie et laisse-moi écouter… , où quinze ans plus tard, les mêmes personnages apparaissent usés, largués, partageant une sorte d’intimité du désespoir, quelque part à New York. L’alcool le plombe, et elle rêve d’échapper à l’angoisse et au sentiment de vide qui la tenaillent. Deux beaux rôles, deux solitudes qui se cherchent et s’approchent, et une écriture où les silences, le langage des corps et les sentiments profonds captent la vérité des êtres et des sensations. La musique composée par Ghédalia Tazartès exprime la dimension tragique des personnages. Dans une nouvelle traduction de Jean-Marie Besset, la metteure en scène met en perspective les deux pièces en traitant la première comme un souvenir et donne à voir « les pulsions, les élans, les à-coups dans les gestes et les paroles », lorsque les mots laissent deviner autre chose que leur signification.
