Après notamment Antigone pour Bienvenue au paradis et L’Odyssée pour Le Monde à l’envers, la compagnie Les Epis noirs s’empare d’Andromaque de Racine avec une énergie et une démesure à la fois burlesques et rigoureuses où se conjuguent le chant, la danse et l’interprétation. Pierre Lericq signe les textes, la musique et la mise en scène de cette pièce qu’il décrit comme un « concert de romance barbare et de solitude tragi-comique », avec la Mort en maître de cérémonie. Plus de confidents ici, ne subsistent que les quatre personnages principaux et leur ronde amoureuse et mortifère. Oreste aime Hermione qui aime Pyrrhus qui aime Andromaque qui aime Hector, son époux tué par Achille. Les chansons « s’entrelacent à la manière des chants du chœur, autour des parcours de ces quatre personnages prisonniers de leurs rapports au pouvoir et à l’amour. » Un déRacinement au plus proche des mouvements de la nature humaine.
