TCE ET PHILHARMONIE / CONCERTS LYRIQUES
Les mythes et séductions de l’Orient ont toujours inspiré les artistes. Parmi eux, Maurice Ravel qui commença d’écrire un opéra Les Mille et une nuits lorsqu’il était encore étudiant au Conservatoire. Si seule l’ouverture, intitulée Shérérazade, a vu le jour, son univers exotique a continué de l’habiter. En témoigne son cycle de mélodies du même nom, sur des textes de Tristan Klingsor. Ces superbes poèmes pour voix de femmes sont interprétés par Anne Sofie von Otter au TCE, sous la direction de Louis Langrée à la tête de l’Orchestre des Champs-Élysées, et par Marie-Nicole Lemieux à la Philharmonie, avec François-Xavier Roth et l’Orchestre de Paris dans la fosse. Deux concerts pour apprécier l’écriture orchestrale foisonnante de Ravel.
