Anticodes résulte d’une association entre trois lieux aux statuts différents : Le Quartz à Brest, le Théâtre de Chaillot à Paris et les Subsistances à Lyon. De cette association est né un festival transdisciplinaire résolument orienté vers des formes contemporaines qui fête cette année sa deuxième édition. Circuleront entre ces trois théâtres des spectacles mêlant danse, musique, théâtre, performance et quelques installations . Un ensemble dont la qualité n’a rien à envier à l’originalité. C’est par exemple le cas des Fauves de Michel Schweizer qui ausculte et théâtralise la fraîcheur et le naturel adolescents avec des jeunes non professionnels qu’il porte à la scène. Ou encore de la Femme surnaturelle du Big Dance Theater, tout droit venu de New-York, pour un spectacle inspiré d’Euripide qui mêle danse à la manière du chœur antique, musique médiévale française et direction d’acteurs dans la tradition yiddish.
Tout en déséquilibre poétique et désopilant
Seul regret cette année, le partage des spectacles semble céder de la place aux initiatives de chaque lieu. Brest et Paris se partageront bien le voguing, danse contestataire de Harlem dont s’emparent Cécilia Bengoléa et François Chaignaud dans Mimosa. Et l’américain Dan Safer présentera à Paris un Vicious dogs on promises alliant culture pop, performance improvisée et vidéo en contrepoint, et à Lyon un spectacle concocté avec un collectif français bien décalé : Ildi !eldi !. Mais chaque lieu conduit aussi sa propre programmation. Au gré de ces initiatives isolées, on pourra ainsi découvrir de belles pièces . Citons entre autres L’inattendu de Camille Boitel, tout en déséquilibre poétique et désopilant, ou encore This is how you will disappear de Gisèle Vienne, créé avec le subversif écrivain américain, Dennis Cooper.
