Scène nationale de l’Essonne – Agora / Texte de Sophocle / Mise en scène de Daniel Léocadie et Jérôme Cochet
Installée depuis 2017 à la Rivière Saint-Louis à La Réunion, la compagnie Kisa Mi Lé crée sur l’île des pièces « aux questions universelles, intimes comme sociales », qui placent souvent le public au centre de son dispositif. Son Antigone de Sophocle, mise en scène par Daniel Léocadie et Jérôme Cochet, s’inspire pour cela des ronds de combats de coq, ou « batay coq ». Comme dans ce spectacle populaire, un cercle de terre central est le lieu de tous les affrontements. Lorsque les acteurs en sortent, ils viennent débattre directement avec le spectateur. Ils l’interrogent sur les sujets soulevés par la pièce : notre rapport aux lois qui nous gouvernent, la légitimité de la résistance à l’ordre établi. Inspirés des traditions musicales du moringue et du Maloya, représenté au plateau par le célèbre Danyèl Waro, les chœurs donnent un air de fête à la tragédie.
