Opéra royal – Château de Versailles / Dominique Pitoiset / Vincent Dumestre
Après Così fan tutte l’an dernier, qu’il avait placé sous le double regard de la peinture de Poussin et des combats féministes contemporains, Dominique Pitoiset déroule le fil rouge de l’Amour avec Armide de Lully. Cette nouvelle production créée à l’Opéra de Dijon, pour laquelle le metteur en scène refuse la référence littérale au Grand Siècle – mais qui voyage cependant à Versailles –, s’assure une légitimité musicale avec la présence sur scène (plutôt qu’en fosse) du Poème Harmonique dirigé par Vincent Dumestre. On se souvient de son magnifique Couronnement de Poppée l’an dernier avec les chanteurs de l’Académie de l’Opéra de Paris, véritable sortilège sonore. Cette fois, le chef aura à ses côtés une distribution superlative : Stéphanie d’Oustrac dans le rôle-titre, Cyril Auvity en Renaud, mais aussi Eva Zaïcik ou Marie Perbost.
