Souhaitant ouvrir les yeux sur « la merde » des sociétés européennes occidentales, Rodrigo García crée Et balancez mes cendres sur Mickey, une succession de séquences-performances entrelaçant textes — dits ou seulement projetés sur écran —, vidéos, mises en jeu corporelles et images en mouvement d’une beauté plastique souvent frappante, voire hypnotique. « Si l’on perd l’insécurité et la peur », déclare l’artiste argentino-madrilène, « on perd toute capacité poétique ». Voilà, semble-t-il, le sens que Rodrigo García désire donner à son engagement scénique : lancer des contre-feux poétiques aux sociétés “surhygiénistes”, “surconsuméristes”, “sursécurisées”, auxquelles nous, Européens, sommes présumés appartenir. Pour cela, il met en place une représentation composée de signes et de messages tendant à réinvestir les callosités, les vacillations, les menaces perdues de nos existences. A grand renfort de nudité, de grivoiserie, d’aphorismes, d’encrassement physique…, Et balancez mes cendres sur Mickey multiplie ainsi les visions dérisoires d’un monde au sein duquel « une forêt est mille fois moins attrayante que Disneyland ».
L’incertitude de la beauté
Feu, miel, boue, amas de cheveux… Jorge Horno, Nuria Lloansi et Juan Loriente, accompagnés de quelques figurants amateurs ainsi que d’animaux, portent donc sur scène des propos et des situations-chocs voulant faire sens autant par leur portée poétique que par les combats politiques qu’ils révèlent. C’est pourtant essentiellement le premier terme de l’équation qui imprime sa marque et reste à l’esprit. Comme si la poétique du plateau, des images et des scènes générées par les performeurs, dépassait, de loin, le propos que le spectacle est censé servir. Comme si la force de cette représentation-manifeste ne résidait pas dans ses aplombs militants, idéologiques, — aplombs à bien des égards convenus, restrictifs — mais bien dans les incertaines et étranges vibrations nées des chutes à répétition d’êtres entièrement maculés de boue, de la vision d’un corps nu dégoulinant de miel, d’un visage menacé par le feu… « La beauté fait toujours exclusivement son apparition dans l’incertitude », écrit Rodrigo García. A travers ses fulgurances et ses revers, Et balancez mes cendres sur Mickey corrobore la justesse de cette intuition.
