Depuis plus de dix ans, Artur Ribeiro et André Curti créent ensemble des spectacles de théâtre gestuel dont Fragments du désir est le cinquième. Cette écriture théâtrale singulière ne dispose pas de mots mais de gestes, de mouvements, de postures, de poses qui appartiennent aux corps – un ensemble de tableaux élégants et précis -, qui sont révélateurs de tensions dramatiques intenses. Les troubles sourds et les conflits implicites, les états d’attente et de suspension, composent une partition à la musique éloquente. La pièce repose sur l’émotion et la poésie du non-dit, des qualités advenant par la présence théâtrale. La pièce trace le récit de quatre solitudes égarées ; un père, son fils, Olga la gouvernante et Orlando dont les « vies entremêlées narrent la difficulté à être et explorent l’urgence d’affirmer sa place ». Homosexualité, travestissement, les identités peuvent être plurielles.
Les scènes se répètent ou se reprennent avec des variations en miroir
La question artistique concerne la simultanéité de l’expression corporelle et de l’action théâtrale à travers la stylisation et la transposition. Le spectacle Fragments du désir privilégie l’éclatement de la narration ; nulle unité de lieu, ni de temps, les scènes se répètent avec des variations en miroir, selon les points de vue. La dextérité gestuelle est la condition pour que les séquences s’enchaînent dans la fluidité et l’enchantement que provoque le désir. Le spectateur est invité à participer à la création d’un pur tableau onirique, en s’associant dans l’empathie à l’évolution élégante des conflits des personnages. Avec Artur Ribeiro et André Curti, Maya Borker et Matias Chebel font magnifiquement briller ces Fragments du désir.
