Alizé Théâtre / de Wajdi Mouawad et Benoît Vermeulen / Création collective de Sarah Ballestra, Pierrick Bressy-Coulomb, Mélaine Catuogno, Vivien Fedele et Alexandre Streicher.
Pour questionner la brutalité du monde, les membres du Bruit de la rouille « cherchent sans cesse cet endroit du théâtre qui interroge et joint l’enchantement de l’onirisme à la violence de la poésie ». Avec Assoiffés, texte incandescent sur l’adolescence, ils explorent l’œuvre de Wajdi Mouawad, et invitent le public à s’interroger sur ses rêves, leur rôle et ce qu’ils deviennent, à travers l’histoire de Boon, adolescent « déchiré entre l’écoute de son cœur et la société ». « La langue brute, poétique et dotée d’un humour parfois grinçant, offre l’évolution de l’histoire dans un jeu tout en rupture. » Le cri de douleur de Boon lui permet de comprendre que « la violence d’une vie peut donner la beauté de l’art » et le message de la pièce est enthousiaste et optimiste, malgré sa noirceur et les affres du doute et de l’angoisse qui épouvantent le pauvre Boon.
