Nouvelle Scène nationale de Cergy-Pontoise et du Val d’Oise / d’Ana Borralho et João Galante
Après Rio de Janeiro, Ljubjana, Athènes, Montpellier, Madrid…, les plasticiens et metteurs en scène portugais Ana Borralho et João Galante s’installent à Pontoise pour réunir, sur le plateau du Théâtre de Louvrais, cent Valdoisiennes et Valdoisiens à l’occasion de leur performance participative Atlas. L’objet de cette création documentaire ? Tenter de faire bouger le monde, procéder à la révolution lente et discrète que peut permettre le théâtre. Ils seront donc cent – avec des morphologies, des origines, des professions, des chemins de vie variés – à constituer ensemble « une sorte d’atlas du tissu social et urbain local ». A l’issue d’une série d’ateliers réalisés en amont du spectacle, ces femmes et ces hommes afficheront leurs différences lors de deux représentations. Une façon de « transformer la scène en place publique » tout en révélant, par le biais de la parole, « la force du collectif ».
