« De tout ce que l’on a pu lire, entendre et voir sur Œdipe, déclarent les membres de la Compagnie Les Anges au plafond, rien ne nous a plu autant que la destinée de ce personnage, l’histoire de sa vie. Si l’on a voulu faire revivre ce mythe vieux de plus de 2500 ans, c’est qu’il nous semble parler avec force du monde d’aujourd’hui. » C’est ainsi à l’espoir fou de ces femmes, hommes et enfants du XXIème siècle qui se lancent dans des embarcations de fortune pour traverser la Méditerranée que renvoie Au Fil d’Œdipe, Tentative de démêlage du mythe. Entre univers rock et polar mâtiné d’humour, cette création marionnettique veut parler de l’errance, de la liberté, de la quête d’identité. Un radeau s’arrache du sol. Des formes humaines, des perches, des trappes, des poulies sont actionnées à vue. Le voyage au monde d’Œdipe vient de commencer.
