Maison des Métallos / de Stéphanie Chêne / mes Pierre Guillois
Lorsque, jeune danseuse de 23 ans, Stéphanie Chêne se fait écraser le bassin par un cheval, elle reste immobilisée pendant des mois. Elle se bat. Dans un centre de rééducation pour grands blessés, elle finit par retrouver l’usage de son corps. Elle se remet à danser. À vivre. Mais des années après, l’artiste qui l’a échappé belle n’a rien oublié de cette expérience. La paralysie l’a changée. En profondeur. Accompagnée par Pierre Guillois, elle en porte alors elle-même le souvenir dans Au Galop !, douce-amère « autobiographie d’une danseuse sous un cheval ». Dynamique succession de brefs monologues intérieurs, de dialogues ou encore d’apostrophes, le récit ne s’arrête jamais sur la douleur. Accompagnée par l’hybride composition musicale de Jérémie Kokot, Stéphanie Chêne déploie la touchante parole d’une jeunesse pleine d’espoir malgré tout.
