Pour horizon à un monde troublé, une baignoire, un synthé, des chaises, une guitare, des lampes ; ce bric à brac infernal jonche la scène. Au milieu de ce trouble, arrêtons-nous (un instant) et jouons dans le noir est une comédie thriller, kitch et baroque. Tout est parti de Dans le noir de l’auteur belge Régis Duqué, une pièce dans laquelle les histoires se multiplient et s’entrecroisent. Les hommes tournent autour d’un centre – une femme -, ou plutôt son stéréotype vide de vérité. Ce constat du réel court jusqu’à la fin de l’intrigue théâtrale ou bien jusqu’à la mort : voilà notre vie. Le spectacle tisse avec brio un croisement d’histoires de mafia, d’enquête, de traîtrise sentimentale au centre desquelles se trouve Betty, femme fatale pour laquelle tous tombent : Tom, Jerry, Donald, l’acolyte de Jerry et Daffy, le flic. La comédie est forcément déjantée et ludique avec « sexe, burgers, lucha libre, flingues et rock’and roll ». Avec juste ce qu’il faut d’humour, de légèreté et de férocité.
