C’est déjà Noël au Triton qui finit l’année en compagnie de quelques poids lourds ébouriffants de la scène française. A tout seigneur tout honneur, Andy Emler et son Megaoctet ouvrent le feu pour mieux remettre en jeu, sur la scène qui a suscité sa creation en 2008, le repertoire de leur dernier album “Crouch, touch, engage” (le 4). Une nouvelle leçon de groove, de liberté et de générosité musicale… A suivre : la pianiste Sophia Domancich, en quartet avec John Greaves (voix), qui présente la musique de son nouvel album “Snakes and Ladders” (le 9); le Ka-Tam Trio, trio de jazz démultiplié, inspiré par les rythmes traditionnels et « tipawol » (proverbes créoles) antillais, composé des trois intsrumentistes-chanteurs Jean-Rémy Guédon au saxophone et à la flûte,Thierry Jasmin-Banaré à la basse et Antoine Banville à la batterie (le 10) ; le quartet « silencieux » du violoncelliste Vincent Courtois, qui s’est fixé comme projet artistique de "mettre en musique l’intime et la profondeur d’un silence intérieur », avec Jeanne Added au chant, Yves Robert au trombone et François Merville aux batterie et percussions (le 11) ; le trio d’élite composé de Louis Sclavis (clarinettes et saxophone), Gilles Coronado (guitare) et Benjamin Moussay (piano, claviers), nouveau groupe du clarinettiste tourné vers l’électronique installé au Triton en résidence de création (le 16) ; et enfin, Médéric Collignon pour une exploration de la musique de King Crimson à la tête de son Jus de Bosce Quartet augmenté par un quatuor à cordes dirigé par Pierre Blanchard (les 17 et 18).
