Oscar depuis longtemps attend, dans le silence des sens, caché dans son image. Il veille sur Jacques, ado rivé à l’écran d’ordinateur, prisonnier d’une bulle de fiction pixelisée où ses pensées tournoient sans fin. En isolement des autres humains… Perclus dans son « île », Jacques essaie de parler avec Oscar, être-machine condamné à flâner dans les programmes informatiques. « Les jeunes aujourd’hui sont quotidiennement en prise avec des mondes virtuels. Comment la pratique des jeux vidéo, d’internet, des réseaux sociaux influe-t-elle sur nos comportements, sur notre perception de la réalité, sur nos capacités d’action, de vivre ensemble ? » interroge Roland Auzet. « Que ce soit par sa conscience ou par son regard, simultanément analytique, accusateur et distanciateur, jeté curieusement sur tout ce qui l’entoure, ce spectacle fouille notre relation à l’artificiel, aux autres et à nous-mêmes. ». Pour donner corps au beau texte de Fabrice Melquiot, le metteur en scène et compositeur a conçu un dispositif qui plonge le spectateur dans un univers visuel et sonore qui floute les lisières du virtuel. Jusqu’à renverser la réalité du réel ?
