FESTIVAL / PERPIGNAN – THEATRE DE L’ARCHIPEL
La musique aujourd’hui est affaire de scène. Tel est l’idée directrice du festival Aujourd’hui Musiques qui s’ouvre cette année avec une création musicale et scénique de Bertrand Dubedout (né en 1958), interprétée par l’un de ses musiciens fétiches, le percussionniste Jean Geoffroy. Musique électronique (À demi endormi déjà d’Art Zoyd) ou instrumentale (l’accordéoniste Pascal Contet et l’Orchestre de Perpignan Méditerranée), les spectacles d’Aujourd’hui Musiques interrogent le rapport de la musique à la scène. Ainsi Jean-Luc Therminarias (né en 1964) s’associe-t-il au metteur en scène Jean Lambert-Wild, à l’écrivain Michel Onfray et à la danseuse Carolyn Carlson pour Le Retour aux forêts. Wilfried Wendling signe quant à lui la musique, la mise en scène et la création vidéo de Müller Machines, un spectacle au croisement des arts : théâtre, multimédia, cirque (avec l’acrobate Cécile Mont-Reynaud) et musique (Kasper T. Toeplitz, électron libre de la musique contemporaine, se fait ici complice de Wilfried Wendling) habitent la scène où l’acteur Denis Lavant porte les textes du dramaturge allemand disparu en 1995 (Paysage sous surveillance, Libération de Prométhée, Nocturne).
