« Cette pièce, fait observer Judy Croquefer, offre un point de vue d’une grande liberté sur des sujets comme l’errance, la filiation ou encore la dépendance à l’autre. » Des thèmes que la comédienne et metteure en scène a souhaité aborder avec un groupe d’interprètes partageant sa jeunesse (Margaux Dupré, Charles Mathorez, Clément Lainé, Matthieu Carle et Robin Migné). « Je n’ai rien voulu fabriquer, poursuit-elle, et j’ai veillé à ce que mes acteurs, lorsqu’il jouent, soient le plus proche possible de ce qu’ils sont. » S’attachant à créer un théâtre du vrai qui ne joue pas à faire mais à être, cette mise en scène d’Autour de ma pierre, il ne fera pas nuit nous plonge dans une nuit de canicule, auprès d’une famille insolite. Ses membres profanent des tombes, se travestissent, se cognent les uns aux autres… Ils nous font entrer dans un monde de solitude peuplé de rêves d’ailleurs, de rêves de plus beau et de plus grand.
