Neuf garçons et filles non catégorisables. Le théâtre d’Ahmed Madani ne se calque jamais sur tels ou tels discours ou attentes, mais porte à la scène la vivante complexité de chaque existence, lestée de ses forces et ses fragilités. Il révèle aussi avec finesse les liens et les contradictions qui se nouent entre divers parcours, les échos et résonances qui s’articulent entre l’intime et le politique. Avec toujours une touche d’inattendu. Ici s’affirment haut et fort le plaisir du théâtre et le goût du partage, autour d’un thème ultra-sensible : l’amour, la sexualité, le désir. Chacun ou chacune évoque l’histoire de ses parents – coup de foudre, mariage arrangé, foyer polygame, silence radio car le sujet est tabou… -, avant de revenir sur soi, des premiers émois aux défis à venir. Entre injonctions et désirs d’émancipation, l’équation n’est pas simple à résoudre. Avec énergie et détermination, ils et elles offrent un beau moment d’humanité partagée qui s’ouvre au futur.
