Et si la scène devenait un parlement où le spectateur avait droit de vote ?
C’est la troublante expérience que propose Roger Bernat, invitant
l’assemblée réunie à devenir le théâtre improvisé d’un débat démocratique
sur les grandes questions de société. Parité, immigration, sécurité…
autant de thèmes proposés à la controverse et aux avis divers. Chacun
dispose d’une manette qui lui permet d’exprimer son approbation, son
désaccord ou son abstention, tandis que les scores s’affichent sur grand
écran. Chacun peut aussi prendre position au sein de commissions formées sur
tel ou tel sujet. Le public, acteur principal de ce théâtre sans comédiens,
est ainsi appelé à (re)prendre une parole trop souvent confisquée dans les
simulacres parlementaires et faux débats. Poursuivant la recherche d’un art
vivant participatif avec Pendiente de voto (« vote en cours », en espagnol),
le metteur en scène catalan bouscule le cadre de la représentation et ouvre
un espace de réflexion politique collective.
