« Babysitting » ? C’est comme le regard à la fois bienveillant et surveillant que posent les gardiens chaque jour sur les œuvres. Si Robyn Orlin n’a bien sûr pas inventé la performance chorégraphique en musée, c’est en intégrant les gardiens au processus de création qu’elle va aujourd’hui nous surprendre. Le musée du Louvre accueille le projet dans le cadre du Festival d’Automne après Berlin et Johannesburg. Ici, l’approche politique appréciée chez la chorégraphe s’attache à bousculer les regards, à faire cohabiter l’histoire, les œuvres, avec les problématiques sociales que peut brasser une telle institution. La visite du musée prend alors la forme d’une déambulation où se croisent architecture, œuvres, films, comédiens, danseurs, et… gardiens.
