L’apostrophe – Scène nationale de Cergy-Pontoise et du Val d’Oise Chorégraphies de Millepied / Forsythe / Marin
Technique maîtrisée sur bout des pointes, répertoire comptant tous les grands noms de la danse, inspiration dans l’interprétation… Sous la houlette de Yorgos Loukos depuis 1991, le ballet de l’Opéra de Lyon collectionne aujourd’hui les superlatifs admiratifs ! Il décline ici un programme qui témoigne de son excellence en tout genre. Avec Steptext, William Fortsythe démultiplie les combinaisons de composition sur une sonate de Bach et vrille sa syntaxe du mouvement en une fugue de la mécanique du rituel théâtral. Sarabande, pièce inspirée de Benjamin Millepied sur les partitions de Bach, enchaîne les exercices savants et pousse la virtuosité jusqu’à la douceur de l’abandon. Avec la Grosse Fugue de Beethoven, Maguy Marin fait vibrer les corps au gré des mesures du quatuor et pousse à l’extrême la tension d’une danse en liberté. « Cette éblouissante bourrasque jubilatoire ponctuée par le vertige de la toute fin, qu’est la vie, nous amène à croire qu’on est obligé de « vivre tant que l’on vit ». » dit-elle. Et c’est là qu’on chavire…
