D’abord il y a ce standard, Besame Mucho, chanson d’amour rythmée par un boléro, écrite en 1940 et qui compte jusqu’aujourd’hui un nombre incalculable de reprises. C’est cette carte qu’a jouée Michel Kéléménis, avec un montage de douze versions venues illustrer, avec les danseurs, les mille et une déclinaisons du désir. Par-delà la simplicité du message, dépit amoureux et solitude seront sublimés par la « pétillance » des costumes d’Agatha Ruiz de la Prada. Avec Viiiiite, c’est un duo féminin qui prend les contours de la musique de Christian Zanési, compositeur électroacousticien qui accompagne le chorégraphe depuis de nombreuses années. Avec, au cœur de la pièce, une phrase gestuelle qui revient, telle une rengaine, comme un souvenir, offerte à l’altération du rythme, du son, de l’interprétation.
