« Du caustique qui décape » : telle est la manière dont Olivia Lancelot et sa voix espiègle et Christophe Bach et ses guitares envisagent et traitent l’univers de ce maître de l’absurdité poétique qu’était Boris Vian, météore éclatant et irrévérencieux qui cache sous ses dehors comiques des textes engagés et profonds. De La Java des bombes atomiques à La Complainte du progrès, de La Guerre est mal faite à J’suis snob, joyeux bouchers et mal aimés renaissent sur scène entre « calembours, contrepèteries et autres incongruités verbales qui pétillent », entre textes ironiques, chansons théâtrales et romans poétiques. Caroline Ducau-Martin met en scène les deux artistes qui flirtent avec l’esprit de Vian et mêlent l’interprétation musicale et le jeu théâtral en un spectacle qui navigue entre le burlesque et le poignant, remuant « le cœur et la cervelle » du public dans la complicité duquel il se déploie, pour le plaisir de tous. Un cabaret drôle et tendre, parfois saignant, qui rit jaune, rouge et noir et allie poésie et espièglerie farceuse, dans l’ambiance frondeuse et libertaire des caves de Saint-Germain-des-Prés où résonnait la « trompinette » de Bison Ravi.
