NOUVELLE PRODUCTION / OPERA BASTILLE
Outre Rhin, Marius Felix Lange, né en 1968, est surtout connu comme compositeur de musiques de film. Son style se révèle efficace, plus néo-classique qu’avant-gardiste. Une esthétique que l’on retrouve dans son opéra familial Blanche-Neige, créé en 2011 à Cologne avant d’être adapté en langue française en 2012 à l’Opéra du Rhin à Strasbourg puis repris ce mois-ci à l’Athénée. La distribution fait la part belle aux jeunes voix (Kristina Bitenc, Hubert Claessens, Marie Cubaynes, Laurent Deleuil…). L’Orchestre Lamoureux est dirigé par Vincent Monteil, directeur musical de l’Opéra studio, lieu de formation de jeunes chanteurs pré-professionnels mis en place par l’Opéra du Rhin. Un spectacle décidément marqué du sceau pédagogique.
