Bled est sommé par ses parents expulsés de leur cité de partir à la recherche d’un abri. Contraint, le garçon (Vincent Nadal), sweat à capuche, baskets et dégaine désarticulée d’ado, dérobe le portable d’un de ses frères pour s’assurer photographiquement du chemin du retour. Malicieux, après avoir laissé à leur fenêtre d’immeuble son père et sa mère voilée, figurés par des marionnettes, Bled chemine en quête d’une maison forestière, laissant à leur paresse ses six frères brutaux aux traditions archaïques. « Tiens, c’est drôle j’ai le goût de bonnes fraises des bois bien sucrées », dit-il. La force de l’enfant tient à sa façon d’être à l’écoute de la Nature – bois, arbres et fleurs – mais aussi à celle de Ti-Cœur, un ami avec lequel il parle librement pour construire sa pensée et se délivrer de ses peurs. C’est un autre lui-même, un passeur qui le fortifie face à Shed (Antonin Lebrun), sa part obscure et son double, cagoule serrée et lumières cruelles sur sa face blafarde.
Le Poucet se déplace pas à pas grâce à l’imagerie du manège
La poésie de Daniel Danis tient à son écriture élémentaire, délicate et incisive, et à l’art de la scénographie. Une tournette avec panneaux de bois aux papiers déchirés évoque la tour de la cité que le jeune abandonne. Plié, déplié, mobile, le paravent illustre le chemin parcouru, la marche sur la terre de qui se sent bien dans ses souliers malgré les obstacles. Une branche de lierre, un coquelicot, il erre dans les sous-bois lointains où l’air fleure bon. Le Poucet se déplace pas à pas grâce à l’imagerie du manège qui fait écho au mouvement intime de la parole. La bande-son et l’utilisation du micro poétisent l’espace mental du héros, là où s’accomplit le voyage à la poursuite d’une aspiration noble, une cinématographie de sa propre lumière intérieure. Se sortir de la banlieue, c’est ce que désire instinctivement Bled dans sa lutte contre la violence. Les deux comédiens marionnettistes accomplissent un parcours scénique et dramaturgique en toute sérénité. Du théâtre d’art brut.
