Si, comme le dit la chanson, toutes les musiques qu’on aime viennent du blues, réciproquement, le blues trouve aussi sa source dans toutes les musiques, sous toutes latitudes. Cette « escale » nanterrienne de 3 concerts en 2 jours met en évidence cette universitalité : Jean Chartron poursuit son pari de chanter le blues en français en toute révérence aux grands maîtres américains mais aussi à ceux qui dans l’hexagone ont ouvert la voie (Benoît Blue Boy, Patrick Verbecke, Paul Personne, etc…), le 26/11 à 19h. Le soir même, à 20h30, Roland Tchakounté, qui chante en bamiléké, dialecte camerounais, et Amar Sundy, au blues nourri par un groove nord-africain et chanté en français ou en sahraoui, se succéderont sur scène pour laisser s’épanouir leurs blues métissés aux racines africaines plurielles. Enfin, le 27 à 20h30, une nouvelle double affiche conclura les débats avec l’impeccable guitariste et chanteur américain Eric Bibb, apôtre du renouveau du blues acoustique, puis l’amérindienne Pura Fe’, grande voix d’une mémoire américaine confisquée, entre chants traditionnels indiens et blues aux sonorités profondes.
