On la reconnaît par ses langueurs, ses consonances gifflantes autant que nonchalantes, ses accents de patate chaude pourtant articulés. Brigitte Fontaine est une artiste unique, aussi réfléchie que spontanée. Sa poétique est versificatrice et énergumène, pétrie de dadaïsme, très vraie, très adroite, profondément belle. Là, elle s’auto-portraitise, nous déteste et nous adore, clame une immense humanité, l’épluche avec une impudeur chaste, un culot touchant, une tendresse méchante qui dit le monde. Areski Belkacem et Yann Péchin insufflent une douceur sèche aux textes lus, dits ou chantés, réussissant à capitonner le verbe. En première partie, Valérian Renault aura fort à faire, mais c’est une chose qu’il fait bien.
