MUSIQUE CONTEMPORAINE / MAISON DE LA RADIO
Bruno Mantovani est partout ! Compositeur, directeur du Conservatoire national supérieur de musique de Paris, membre de l’influent réseau du Siècle, il reçoit des commandes des plus prestigieuses institutions. Après l’Opéra de Paris (qui lui a commandé un opéra et un ballet), c’est au tour de Radio France de le mettre à l’honneur. On entendra ses pièces symphoniques, comme L’idée fixe, par l’Orchestre philharmonique de Radio France, dirigé par Pascal Rophé. Le même Orchestre philharmonique sera dirigé par Mantovani lui-même pour un programme mêlant ses pièces Troisième round et Streets, à l’énergie rythmique irrésistible, et des partitions de Donatoni, Michael Jarrell ou encore Benjamin Attahir, nouveau nom de la composition. En musique de chambre, on pourra découvrir une création de Bruno Mantovani destinée à la pianiste Claire Désert et au Trio Wanderer. Un programme gourmand, ce qui n’a rien d’étonnant de la part d’un compositeur qui est aussi un fin gourmet.
