Retour en enfance. A leur arrivée dans le théâtre, les spectateurs, adultes ou minots, sont invités à se glisser dans de petits lits en bois, sous des couvertures, pour écouter l’histoire de Buchettino (un des noms du Petit Poucet en italien). Le célèbre conte de Perrault est dit par Silvia Pasello (en alternance avec Valérie Dashwood et Céline Carrère), la narratrice qui rejoue le rituel de la lecture du soir, dans la pénombre. Au dehors, l’orage gronde, la forêt gémit, les feuilles craquent, les loups hurlent, l’ogre arrive à pas pesants, autant de bruits restitués dans une fine ambiance sonore conçue par Romeo Castellucci. Lui et Chiara Guidi ont conçu un spectacle où l’acoustique et l’atmosphère visuelle tiennent tout autant de place que le jeu théâtral. La suggestion rend la fable encore plus saisissante, les sens aux aguets renouent avec les frayeurs enfantines et les cauchemars enfouis. Vite, une paire de bottes de sept lieues !
