Trois amis musiciens, une Italienne (Sabina Colonna Preti) et deux Argentins (Eduardo Egüez et Francisco Gato), ont imaginé ce voyage imaginaire hors des frontières du temps, des styles et de la géographie. Ce concert réveille en sons, en textes et en images un monde fait de souvenirs et de traversées entre culture d’hier, « avec les émigrants italiens à la recherche d’une nouvelle terre d’outre-mer et les italo-argentins qui chantaient dans les bars et les bordels de la Boca », et culture d’aujourd’hui, « avec les Argentins qui vont en Italie pour retrouver leurs racines et les Italiens qui se passionnent pour le tango ». Point de départ de l’aventure ? La découverte d’un madrigal italien du XVIIe siècle aux étranges saveurs argentines… Laissons-nous guider par lui à notre tour et redécouvrons les correspondances troublantes des thèmes abordés à trois siècles d’écart dans les madrigaux italiens baroques et le tango contemporain, qui semblent nous parler des mêmes amours, des mêmes visages, des mêmes départs… Avec l’ensemble La Chimera placé sous la direction d’Eduardo Egüez Furio Zanasi (ténor) et Ximena Biondo (alto). Le disque du projet sort sur le label m.a recordings.
