Cirque ou danse ? A la question lancée au titre de provocation, les artistes répondent en faisant fi des catégories et autres pointilleuses classifications. Plus, ils mêlent et emmêlent les arts à plaisir, prouvant que la création déborde sans cesse les cases où certains voudraient bien l’asservir. Ainsi de Yoann Bourgeois, formé au CNDC d’Angers et au Cnac, avec Les Fugues, jonglerie musicale, et Cavale, ballet acrobatique sur trampoline en duo avec Mathurin Bolze. Ou de Joao Paulo Dos Santos, qui, dans Contigo, dessine sa danse au mât chinois avec le chorégraphe Rui Horta. Dans Rêvolutions, le circassien Jörg Müller et le danseur Ivan Fatj évoluent dans une constellation de tubes métalliques suspendus, en échos aux improvisations jazz d’Akosh S. Dans Mise en plis, l’acrobate danseuse Marlène Rostaing accorde l’onde de son corps au souffle de l’accordéon de Pascal Contet. Juchant cinq interprètes sur d’étranges chaussures compensées, la chorégraphe turque Aydin Teker défie quant à elle l’apesanteur et l’équilibre avec un étonnant aKabi. Ces quelques six spectacles proposés par la Ferme du Buisson montrent qu’aux assignations disciplinaires, l’art préfère heureusement semer des points d’interrogations…
