Ils sont cinq auteurs à avoir répondu à la commande passée par le Panta-théâtre. Cinq auteurs de nationalités différentes (l’Islandais Sigurdur Palsson, le Français Frédéric Sonntag, le Libanais Elie Karam, le Hollandais Lot Vekemans, le Mexicain Angel Norzagaray) qui ont écrit un texte de quinze minutes autour du thème de la rupture. « L’idée était de parler de ce qui éclate, ce qui déchire, ce qui fait mal », explique Véro Dahuron, qui partage la scène avec le comédien finlandais Timo Torikka. « Le thème de la rupture fait écho à des situations de vie qui m’émeuvent et me questionnent, poursuit-elle. Tout cela est passionnant et la façon d’aborder ce sujet peut changer radicalement selon le pays du monde dans lequel on vit, selon qui l’on est, l’âge que l’on a… » En créant cette proposition multiple aux airs de road movie, Véro Dahuron et Guy Delamotte ont eu à cœur d’interroger toutes ces perspectives à travers un spectacle permettant « d’échapper à une vision trop cérémonieuse et trop figée du théâtre ».
