Les interventions sont parlées, chantées, mimées, musicales et brodées au cours d’improvisations piquantes avec de plus, Les Quatre Jumelles de Copi comme clou de la représentation. C’est ce qu’il fallait pour poser un cabaret à l’auteur et metteuse en scène Sophie Renauld, aidée de la complicité du Théâtre de la Girandole. Et puis, il y a des chansons d’amour, ce qui est loin d’être désagréable, les ritournelles à fleur de trahison et de solitude que viennent réveiller la pop, le rock et la samba. Un ton joyeusement désenchanté, irrévérencieux et provocateur dans l’ironie du monde et de soi. Un Monsieur Loyal et sa dame, des travestis, un musicien débordé, des pantomimes à l’époque des années 20, 70 et 2008 ! On s’amuse sur le plateau, mais tout le plaisir est pour le public qui apprécie les genres, les tendances et les esthétiques entremêlées. Des promesses savoureuses en perspectives, ornées de brillants, de verroterie et de pacotille. Des raisons pour se laisser éblouir.
