Déjà bien repérée dans le circuit comme l’une des excellentes voix de la nouvelle génération, Carine Séchaye est née et a été formée à Genève où elle obtient, au Conservatoire, ses diplômes de chant mais aussi de comédienne. Distinguée lors du Concours Operalia de Placido Domingo en 2007 puis par un remarquable Deuxième prix au concours de Mélodie Française à Toulouse il y a un an, Carine Séchaye est désormais très présente sur les scènes lyriques européennes, de l’Opéra de Zürich au Grand Théâtre de Genève mais aussi au Châtelet (création mondiale du Verfügbar aux enfers) ou au Capitole de Toulouse… Cette mezzo aux graves profonds et aux talents de comédienne rares défend, avec son complice Mathieu Pordoy au piano, un programme de mélodies françaises signées Joseph Kosma, Fauré, Offenbach… Du chant en liberté !
