Atypik Théâtre / Chanson
Ce spectacle possède une qualité exceptionnelle : la clarté vocale de son unique interprète. Chaque note, chaque mot, chaque nuance sont là. Caroline Montier chante magnifiquement bien, avec une justesse et une musicalité jamais prises en défaut. Les fans des chansons de la Dame en noir se régalent : elles resurgissent là, intactes, magiquement conservées comme on le dirait d’un bijou étincelant dans le velours rouge d’une boîte poussiéreuse retrouvée au fond d’un grenier. Un peu intimidée par les chansons les plus célèbres de Barbara, la chanteuse-pianiste a construit son répertoire en tirant un autre fil : « J’ai choisi des chansons de la période entre 1962 et 1970, sur le thème de l’amour. Amour heureux, malheureux, passionné, tumultueux…Barbara s’y chante tour à tour séductrice, tendre, emportée, comblée, abandonnée… Elle disait « je veux chanter l’amour comme une femme ». Elle a chanté ses amours et celles de toutes les femmes… » confie Caroline Montier. Le retour d’un joli récital, bien accueilli l’été dernier à Avignon, puis repris cet hiver au Théâtre Essaion à Paris.
