L’arrivée de deux nouvelles têtes à la succession de Régis Santon apporte un nouveau souffle au Monfort. Laurence de Magalhaes et Stéphane Ricordel, ex-Arts Sauts, proposent une programmation pluridisciplinaire dont les spectacles s’amusent à briser les genres. Côté danse, la saison commence très fort, avec dix jours dédiés au travail de la chorégraphe norvégienne Ina Christel Johannessen. Pas moins de quatre pièces dont une création viendront jalonner le cheminement du spectateur au travers d’une œuvre étrangement physique. Tout commence avec …it’s only a rehearsal, duo décapant mettant en scène Dimitri Jourde et Line Tormoen. Prétextant un travail autour de la légende d’Actéon et Artémis, les deux danseurs réveillent le désir qui entrave les corps pour mieux exploser dans une danse brutale et engagée. I have a secret to tell you (please) leave with me s’inscrit dans la même énergie : avec deux autres danseurs, l’espace blanc devient le lieu de transgressions gestuelles, à l’intérieur duquel trône un cheval d’arçon que chacun investira avec détachement ou sensualité.
Jeu poétique, sombre et absurde
It was november propose une échappée dans un univers intérieur perturbé par sept danseurs. Un foyer propret sert de lieu de vie à une communauté qui se cherche. Ici, les interprètes endossent des personnages typés, et la pièce tourne autour de la notion de collection. Pourquoi l’homme collectionne-t-il ? Que collectionne-t-il ? Malgré l’engagement physique des danseurs, cette pièce flirte avec le théâtre dansé, privilégiant les situations propices à des actes tout aussi forts qu’étranges. La nouvelle création, Thief, met en scène deux danseuses, promptes à distordre le temps et l’espace. La pièce joue des ressorts de l’illusion pour nous plonger dans un univers onirique, dévoilant la face cachée des individus : le jeu poétique, sombre et absurde entre les femmes montre la force et la fragilité, la vie et la mort qui rôde. Durant ces dix jours au Monfort, on tourne les pages d’une œuvre en mouvement, riche et tourmentée. Dix jours pour découvrir un pan de la vitalité de la danse norvégienne.
